TRAIN@wayne Fellow Lauren Richardson awarded prestigious NIDA Director's Travel Award to present research at CPDD

Lauren M. Richardson was awarded the prestigious 2025 CPDD NIDA Director’s Travel Award, supporting her participation in the annual College on Problems of Drug Dependence meeting. At CPDD, Lauren gave a podium presentation entitled “From Dose to Delivery: Oxytocin’s Impact on Maternal–Infant Interactions After Gestational Buprenorphine Exposure,” highlighting translational evidence for oxytocin’s role in improving maternal–infant outcomes following prenatal opioid exposure. Lauren is mentored by Dr. Susie Brummelte.
