TRAIN@wayne Fellow Itzick Nahmoud awarded research grant from Brain Injury Association of America
Itzick Nahmoud was awarded a research grant ($5,000) as Principal Investigator from the Brain Injury Association of America for his project entitled, “Opioid Exacerbation of TBI-induced Neuroinflammation and Pain: Role of the Kynurenine Pathway.” Itzick is co-mentored by Drs. Alana Conti and Eric Woodcock.
